The theme of our project became “ahead of schedule and under budget.” C.D. Smith worked with a number of local subcontractors which made our school board and citizens happy. We received very good bid prices which allowed us to upgrade materials and allocate more money into remodeling older sections of our elementary school. Our finished project helped restore public confidence in our school district. C.D. Smith was a big part of our project success.

157,000 square feet
Cost: $36 million
Architect: Engberg Anderson
C.D. Smith provided General Contracting services for Concourse C at General Mitchell International Airport. The addition represents a 157,000 square feet expansion focused on passenger safety and comfort. Special challenges existed blending the two functions and meeting the Transportation Security Administrations requirements.
Working with space, security and timeline constraints required a committed team effort to overcome any potential challenges. The concourse, which features stone clad walls and terrazzo floors was built to withstand very heavy amounts of traffic.
